Ahhh, isn’t April Fool’s Day great? The internet always seems to take this day particularly difficultly. For our first of hopefully many weekly Top 10 lists, we bring you the Top 10 April Fool’s Pranks of all time.
#10 Guinness Buys Naming Rights for GMT – April Fool’s Day 1998
Guinness releases a press release announcing they have reached a sponsorship partnership with the Old Royal Observatory of Greenwich, England, which lends it’s name to the base timezone, Greenwich Mean Time. Under the terms of this sponsorship, GMT would be renamed as Guinness Mean Time. They fooled at least the Financial Times, who took Guinness to task for the purchase before later printing a retraction.
Top 10 Hardest NES Games | Article
I remember far too many of these games. Yo Noid was actually not horrible, certainly was challenging, but the pizza contest at the end of each level were relatively simple. Silver Surfer and Ghosts and Goblins were vile creatures from the depths of hell. And I still don’t think I ever successfully refueled in Top Gun.

Quite of few of these look great. I’ve been looking forward to Please Be Kind and Choke was an entertaining read, so it looks like 2008 may have some tasty movies. Hopefully these find some wide-scale release.
