Fall 2009 TV Premiere Dates
Alright pop-culture junkies, the Fall premiere season is right around the corner, dulling the stingy pain of the end of summer with the warm embrace of freshly scripted escapism. Whatever flavor you choose, here’s a handy alphabetized list of what comes back when. Of course, this doesn’t cover non-network faire, like Always Sunny (9/17 on FX).
I’m looking forward to:
30 Rock (Season 4) October 15th NBC
American Dad (Season 5) September 27th FOX
Family Guy (Season 8 ) September 27th FOX
The Big Bang Theory (Season 3) September 21st CBS
The Office (Season 6) September 17th NBC
V (Season 1) November 3rd ABC

Venture Bros. Season 4 Trailer
So sure, September gets all the hype for bringing back TV shows from the doom of repeats and summer-crap-faire, but more and more of the stuff you actually want to watch is creeping further into the calendar. Like The Venture Bros, the best animated insanity on the tube, which doesn’t drop it’s Season 4 until bleak November. Hopefully this trailer can placate the maddening hunger for more of Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer’s brilliant absurdity. Go Team Venture!

Bacon Smores?
Can Bacon really make everything better? Is there room in this world for Wasabi S’mores? Seriously, does the timeless combo of graham, chocolate and marshmallow really need more to spice it up?

Battlestar Galactica: The Plan
So in watching the long-anticipated finale of BSG, I couldn’t help but ask myself: “Weren’t the Cylons supposed to have some sort of motherfucking plan?”. For years, the intro’s had teased us, assuring us that despite the seemingly contradictory and thrown together plot lines, there was a master plan, a reason to the rhyming. The finale though was 1/2 effects extravaganza and 1/2 retarded allegory, with not a drop of plan in sight. Apparently this oversight didn’t go unnoticed at the Casa di Moore or SciFi decided it needed to wring a little more milk from it’s tired cash cow, because here we find the trailer for BSG: The Plan, the upcoming 2 hour band aid to attempt a patch on the many plot holes. And how could you not get suckered in with a line like “Let’s get this Genocide Started.”. Yikes.
